Who we are

Adore Beauty Lounge ("we", "us") runs beauty lounges in Mirdif and Meydan, Dubai, and this website. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy, and we handle it in line with the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Information you give us

• Online bookings. When you book online, your details are recorded in Salonist, the booking system we use: your name, phone number, email address and appointment details.
• WhatsApp and phone. When you message or call us, we receive your phone number, your name if you share it, and anything you tell us.
• Our contact form. The form on our contact page does not send your details to us or store them. It prepares a WhatsApp message with what you typed, and you decide whether to send it.
• At the salon. We keep a record of your appointments, the services you've had, and preferences or notes that help us look after you, such as allergies or sensitivities you tell us about. If you pay with a provider such as Tabby or Tamara, they handle your payment details.

Information collected when you use our website

When you browse our website, we and our partners collect information about your visit: the pages you view, the buttons you tap (such as Book online, WhatsApp or Call), how you arrived (for example from a search, another website or one of our ads), your device and browser type, and your approximate location, such as your city or country. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

• To manage your bookings and provide our services.
• To reply to your messages and enquiries.
• To understand how our website is used and make it better.
• To measure how well our advertising works, for example how many people who saw one of our ads visited the website or contacted us, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
• To send you offers and updates, but only if you've asked to receive them. You can stop them at any time.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use:

• Essential storage. Our website remembers, in your browser, whether you've closed our welcome offer, so it doesn't keep appearing. This contains no personal information.
• Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics does not store your IP address.
• Google Ads conversion tracking, to see which of our Google ads lead to visits and enquiries.
• Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, to see which of our Instagram and Facebook ads lead to visits and enquiries, and to show our ads to relevant people. The Conversions API sends the same information from our website's server to Meta, including your IP address and browser details, to make measurement more reliable.
• Google Maps, which shows our lounge locations and may set its own cookies when a map loads.

If you arrive from one of our ads and then message us on WhatsApp, the message may include a short reference number so we know which ad you came from.

Measuring our ads with booking information

To understand which of our ads lead to real appointments, we may share your phone number or email address with Meta and Google in a scrambled (hashed) form. They use it to match you with people who saw or clicked our ads, and report the results to us only as totals.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run our business: Salonist (bookings), WhatsApp (messaging), payment providers such as Tabby and Tamara (when you choose them), and Cloudflare, which hosts and protects our website and processes technical information such as IP addresses.
• Analytics and advertising partners: Google and Meta, as described above.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Your choices

• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
• Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and control the ads you see in My Ad Center.
• Meta. You can control the ads you see on Instagram and Facebook in your ad preferences, in Meta's Accounts Center.
• Offers and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time, or simply tell us on WhatsApp.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information;
• restrict or stop certain uses of your information, or object to them;
• give you your information in a format you can take elsewhere.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email info@adorebeautylounge.ae or message us on WhatsApp. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on your request.

How long we keep information

We keep booking and service records for as long as you're a client, and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal and accounting purposes. Google Analytics deletes detailed, visitor-level data after no more than 14 months; only overall totals are kept longer. Google and Meta keep advertising data in line with their own policies.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

Children

Our website is not intended for children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
